Can vCrib do this? |

Can vCrib simulate keyboard button presses?
I was just thinking....if I ran Winamp on top of vCrib, I could use a remote to change the song if vCrib could simulate pressing the 'v' key, or whatever.
Kind of a quick and dirty way to get something done, but it sounds simple. You could probably just use Homeseer or whatever else you want so vCrib could communicate with that. vCrib 'presses' a button on the keyboard, Homeseer notices this, and the Homeseer shoots out an IR Command via my Slink-E. Essentially vCrib is then controlling the Slink-E.
Is this already possible, or would this have to be a future feature?

That would be a feature request, there is already one in for event ghost integration and command line interface. sorta along the same lines.
